Raise your hand if you like long, flowing dresses from Carol Hannah Bridal. ?
Sometimes we shoot a couple that just stop us in our tracks.  And sometimes we get that couple and get to mix in the perfect gown, black velvet blazer, picture perfect florals from Oak and the Owl, creating all the Urban Chic Wedding vibes.  These images are from the third part of our desert Las Vegas editorial wedding shoot at The Doyle, which we just had to share.
We started the shoot indoors, but saw that the sun was giving off gorgeous golden light from the southwest.  We’re all about chasing great lighting conditions (it’s incredibly flattering and makes for better photos), so we moved our couple outside and added the natural urban flare from the venue to the mix.  And of course we snuck into the veil with them (because thats what photographers turned friends do) allowing the fabric to create a soft glow all around.
We’re basically always looking for the best lighting conditions at our shoots.  It’s not uncommon for us to move furniture all around a hotel room in order to put our brides next to the window during the “getting ready” shots.  LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING, and can make for such a magical moment… and we’re all about doing whatever we can to capture our couples in those moments!
